Analysis 3

This cover by Bombay Bicycle Club is very distinctive for the use of its varied colours. The cover itself is so busy and the design is very different making it unique. The bands name is not featured on the cover, just the name of the album which will make the target market want to pick it up off the shelves to look at who the album is by. The audience would be intrigued by this because its so unique and could be a representation of the bands image quirky image. The colour scheme is made up of over 6 colours which could be seen as a rarity. Designs these days are more of a simplistic and tend to stick to only 3 or 4 colours. Compared to previous digipaks, this is by far the most elaborate that Bombay Bicycle Club have released.

The cover itself is a portait of the moon and sun. It represents the sun setting and the moon coming out and the beginning of a brand new day. The pictures may also represent the journey they have had to endure while getting the position they are in in terms of their musical status. The walking figure appears in each and every circle which can be representational of the fact that fame may happen over night or it may take weeks after weeks of hard work.
