Examples of shots - Bombay Bicycle Club

While I was creating the storyboard I researched into the different shots that were used in songs that were of the indie genre. I found in this song by Bombay Bicycle club there is a wide variety of shots. The majority of which are either close ups of the lead or mid shots of the band and dancers. Researching shots found the process of creating the story board much quicker and due to the genre of our chosen song gave me a good idea of what I needed to include to produce an effective video.  the wide range of variety used within this video makes it effective because there are no shots that are held for longer than 8 seconds. Thus making it interesting to watch throughout the song. Also, within the video there are vast range of cross cuts and digital enhancements making it interesting to as a member of the audience. Although we are not able to make digital enhancements and add ons like they have used I would have loved to use a similar idea.

Here are some screenshots of some different shots.
